1st Annual Western Canada Relief For Haiti Gala

Western Canada Relief For Haiti Gala was an event to raise much needed funds for the two communities in Haiti, which 40% of the homes were destroyed.  The funds raised will help to purchase supplies to build showers, washrooms and install more clean water lines. The Gala was held at the Alfredo’s Eastgate. Tickets included: appetizers, a cash bar, silent and live auction, entertainment
and 50/50.

We congratulate those that helped to make a difference in the lives of Haitian People.  With your help we can assist two communities and improve the lives of many families.  All of our volunteers traveling to Haiti will pay for their own transportation, meals and accommodations.  Please share this information with others.

SPECIAL ITEMS Available for Purchase - LIMITED REPRODUCTIONS and LIMITED ARTIST PROOFS of the latest work of art from well known Saskatchewan Painter YVONNE KYDD.   As many of you may be aware, she has been commissioned to paint a Métis scene for the Year of the Métis.  The picture is titled THE CAMP.  The large painting will be displayed throughout Regina and Saskatoon during the next few months.

Limited reproductions are now available at a cost of $125 each and $250 each for limited artist proofs (25 available). Reproduction size: 16”x24”. Total reproductions are 400. All reproductions will be delivered sometime this September.

Thanks again for making the 1st "Western Canada Relief For Haiti Gala" a Great Success.

Our Team spent two weeks in Haiti working with two communities.  We installed clean water lines, fed and bathed the children and delivered aids.  It was evident that two weeks would not be enough to complete the work that required.  We decided to assist two communities of 600 people on a long-term basis.  Any one from Western Canada will have the opportunity to visit and volunteer in Haiti.  We will be asking the local community to take part in the work that we are doing in Haiti, “helping one person and one community at a time”.
