"Our vision is to assist
Haiti in its recovery through local and International
Agencies"
To provide support in the various
areas, we will assist in the process of translation
to organizations that are aiding in all aspects
of the recovery. Additionally we will assist in
developing contacts with local Haitian government
and in developing and planning safety areas for
the recovery of Haitian citizens.
We will coordinate with acting
government(s) to implement new safety areas (Tent
cities, medical areas and food distribution areas)
as well as working with & overseeing the training
of Haitians to assist in the recovery programs.
"Among the varied
services that we will provide, there are 3 primary
ones." These include the recovery
aid to the people of Haiti, through both financial
means and goods & services, as well as providing
information about and direction to, appropriate
agencies for the sponsoring of families in Haiti
as well as for families abroad wishing to adopt
children from Haiti.
Equally important is our ability to direct persons,
both professional and nonprofessional, to agencies
so that they can join local Haiti support groups
in the relief efforts.
Our organization will
liaison between the various agencies that are
currently working to oversee the relief efforts.
We will ensure that those whom wish to help will
be able to get in contact with those that can
facilitate their assistance. This includes, but
is not limited to government agencies, local and
international profit & non-profit organizations,
transportation services, media and other support
institutions.
